Reread the part about wanderers. Don’t know if that’s the case or not but it doesn’t affect what’s coming, it appears.

Have you never accidently walked out of a store without paying for something? I have, just last week - walked out of Lowe's with a pack of drill bits that I had stuck in my back pocket while I was shopping. And I was still able to remember how to get back to my truck.
And yes, I went back in and paid for them.

Yes I walk out of places with other people’s schit all the time.

It’s no big deal.

You were too drunk to remember, evidently.

Alcoholism is a disease.

Just like dementia.

Like I said, it’s no big deal.

Alcoholism is only a indication and manifestation of deeper weaknesses in character . Dementia is not as it is a true disease.

Alcoholism was labeled as a “disease” so that insurance would pay for it.

Sounds like your Step 13 is working well.
It’s easy to see how you’re able to rationalize it as no big deal.

Once more for you, Flave.

Another exciting, fun filled day for Old Coot.

LOL

As already pointed out several times, there are different stages of dementia, the initial diagnosis is not automatically an institutionalizing event.

In case you haven’t been paying tension, your President has dementia and he holds our Nuclear Codes.

The fact the she may have dementia is totally irrelevant to what these cops did and their attitude towards we “civilians “. Dementia just adds more discussed and sustain for cops.

Despite what wife says I do not have dementia. But I am hard of hearing enough to not hear and understand people at times. There are videos of cops screaming like a little girl at a suspect. I cant understand them so how would a person involved comply?

Dementia has degrees of impairment according to time of day, stress, location, probably blood sugar. I saw an old friend at a funeral. She did not know me but could tell me she had alzheimers ans was taking medication, and to talk to her family there with her.

That statistic sounds reasonable, understandable and a shame as well. I think there are hundreds of police officers doing a good job everyday while a few overshadow the good by their stupidity and power trips. What I don't understand is why, from my personal perception, otherwise good cops seem to defend the actions of those few while not really promoting the good of the hundreds. Not saying you personally but even on this forum all you have to do is read what is written. I get it - "you have to walk in their shoes to understand" - but that is just an old tired saying by now. I support you guys but "don't leave me hanging bro." 😁

Or you can formally complain on azzholes doing s hit that is illegal, far more violent and over the line than this situation....and nothing is done. But yet somehow you're now a snitch in your coworkers eyes, and still a pos to the public.

Its a lose/lose.

Good times!

To be honest, you were one of those that I had in mind about defending the few. Before you get all pizzed at me hear me out. While never being in your shoes, I have been part of many tight knit teams that counted on each other. I understand what happens in the (fill in the blank) stays there mentality. In this specific case most likely all of these cops on admin leave are not really rogue. They got caught up in a bad situation "possibly" brought on by one or two. At the end of the day, by not standing up "snitching" for what is right, they are off the job - maybe even lose the job. Don't know about you, but my family comes first. I did not nor would not jeopardize my families livelihood and financial stability just because of some stupidity on the part of a teammate. Do it right or move on. Just an opinion and not really meant to be a personal shot at you.

1 You don't know me
2 I have no issues with calling out dumb or bad police. Hell I argued with people that thought the taser/glock cop SHOULDN'T be charged criminally (she should)
3. I have stuck my neck out professionally multiple times to complain on officers using excessive force. All it did was come back on me.

I also on a daily basis deal with mentally ill people including folks with dementia. Heck just today I spoke with a schizophrenic that was hallucinating something fierce. Unfortunately in this day people believe calling the police will solve all their problems. News flash, we can't. I am not a psychiatric professional nor a therapist. I have taken the pathetic CIT course (which is pure common sense fyi).

I try to treat people the way I want to be treated. Unless they're an azzhole. Then I will be an azzhole too. I will not be mother f ucked up one side and down the other and call you sir....sorry. I do not want to break an old woman or man either. I try to use my mouth more than putting the beat down on folks because I don't need the reports, liabilities, or to get hurt.

Was this cop an idiot? Probably. Is that common? Well based of the new officers I've interacted with, it's becoming more common. What intelligent person would want to be a cop after Ferguson and now Saint Floyd? Nobody.

Keep buying into the narrative the leftwing media is selling, soon enough no decent person will want to be a cop.

Sorry, but those are just facts.

I can take a lot of abuse and turn my head to some real disgusting things, but this is sickening and that poor woman didn’t deserve that kind of treatment. I hope there is justice in dealing with those pukes in a police uniform.

Fireball and I think that drunkards like you are hilarious.

And you are hilarious if one puts aside your pitiful, pathetic character weaknesses.

Drink up, fool.

That's the plan and it's working like a charm....just like it has throughout history. It's a normal part of a socialist coup.

All the police in my area are polite and professional.

I really don’t care what they do or don’t see humor in.

Doctors, cops and preachers all seem to never want to criticize one of their own.
