I am the original owner of this Kimber in 6.5 CM. The round count after two range trips is 30 using 129gr. Hornady Interlocks (2897fps) and 135gr. Bergers (2833fps) with R-16. Both initial trips did quite well as the photos will show. The rifle has not been bedded - only the trigger taken down to 2.5#'s. I've decided to just use the Mountain Ascent with this cartridge. This has a 24" barrel, mattle black, fluted and is threaded. It weighs 6# 15oz.. A you can see it is suited for bipod work. All the paperwork and box will are sent vis insured UPS. Kimbers have been going up in price and this model is usually found on either side of $2,000. I will sell this shipped to the lower 48 for $1685 to your FFL dealer. I will include a copy of my MN DL for his logbook. Payment can be made by USPS MO, a bank draft or a personal check - (which I will hold until it clears). Good deal and glws. I like mine a lot.
These are full carbon fiber stocks made by AG Composites, who don't otherwise make kimber stocks available for individuals.
Food for thought for anyone else: they shoot great to begin with, but I'm taking advantage of heavy barrel inletted stock to rebarrel to a shorter carbon fiber barrel which will bring the weight to right about 6 pounds.

I also have one and it has quickly became my favorite rifle. The stock and trigger are excellent. I am just at MOA for 5 shots with 140 AB's and ELDX's. I can absolutely see a carbon barrel on mine when the factory one is shot out
