I have considered that in the past. The one time I went to SHOT I wound up at the HS precision booth for a bit. They had some very nice hand laid fiberglass stocks that were rigid as railroad spikes but light. Never did pull the trigger though.

Right now I’m hunting bear with it so I’m shooting 200gr Partitions. It also likes the 150gr TSX. I haven’t tried anything else.

I'm at the dawn of my reloading adventure and am always curious about what people are using. I did have the for sight to get some 180 and 200gr partitions for the 06. What powder are you using for the 200gr partitions and what are the "stats" on your loads?
