It is being reported that the DOJ is now planning to indict Chauvin and the three other cops - J. Alexander Kueng, Thomas Lane and Tou Thao who were involved in Floyd's death on civil rights charges. Chauvin is to be indicted over both Floyd's death and a 2017 incident where he knelt on a black 14-year-old boy's neck for nearly 17 minutes. The other three are to be indicted over Floyd's death.

Apparently, the Feds even had a “contingency plan” to immediately arrest Chauvin in the event he was acquitted.

For this to be a Civil Rights violation, you need to prove that the officers acted out of racist motivation. Has anyone produced a diary, or any Twitter posting by any of these officers where they demonstrate their hatred of black people. Did Chauvin ever say he wanted to go out and kill a black guy?
No, he didn't, because if anything like that existed, it would have been on the front page of the NY Times a year ago.

On top of that, of the four officers one is a gook and the other looks like high yellow, looks like he is part black. Is it possible for a partly black officer to hate black people?
And Asians are a protected minority they are not supposed to hate other minorities.

So. if Chauvin can be indicted for Civil Rights violation for "killing" Floyd, why can't the Capitol cop that killed Ashli be indicted for violating her Civil Rights? Just asking (not for a friend).

The short answer is that the government was never perfect and the 2nd Law of Thermodynamics applies to it.

In a fair world that cop would be brought up on charges. Until we start hitting the streets this will continue. They will string us up one by one until as group we rise. They monitor all means of communication now through social media. They nip it in the butt before anything can develop. The C-19 virus came in at a perfect time. Mandiatory, isolation so groups can't organize without punishment. Almost like it was planned that way with the election theft. Maybe it was?
