I call that filter down economics. If you send $100 to Washington about $5 of it gets used as intended, the other $95 gets filtered off into the pockets of crooked politicians.

Biden has never been right about anything and doesn't know his ass from a hole in the ground. The idea behind so called "trickle down economics" is to allow people to keep more of their own money and NOT send it to Washington. It has worked every time it has been tried....by JFK, Reagan, Bush Jr. and Trump. The government collects more tax receipts because of increased economic activity. The fact that they spend all of it and more is not a fault of the policy.
What does not work is a tax rate much past 30%. It fails over and over but they keep trying it.

I do believe Biden was against busing back in the day.
Give a man a fish and he eats for a day. Give a man a welfare check, a forty ounce malt liquor, a crack pipe, an Obama phone, free health insurance. and some Air Jordan's and he votes Democrat for a lifetime.

Wishful thinking, I know, but it is such a easy way to rebut the tired old "trickle down economics" tripe that I don't know why it isn't thrown back in the Democrats' face every time they bring it up the subject.

Trickle down economics wasn’t about sending more money to Washington, it was about sending less.
Understand what you post about before you post stupid comments.
I was thinking the other day how much I used to hate Bill Clinton. He was freaking George Washington compared to what they are now.

Understand what you post about before you post stupid comments. I know that, that's my point. Perhaps I wasn't clear, so let me try again: The Democrats call it trickle down economics when people spend their money themselves; I'm saying that what is really trickle down economics is sending more money to Washington and expecting some of it to trickle down into the outside-of-Washington economy. And it never has worked. And I wish somebody on our side would turn the phrase back on the Democrats and show it for what it is. ETA: In case you still don't get it, the title of the thread was intended to be sarcastic.

Why doesn't somebody in the Republican Party say this? Grrrrrrr.... Because GOP is in on getting the money for them and theirs. Difference is Republicans expect to hire out some work for it whereas Dems are too smart to bother. Serious. It kills me to see a welfare mother doing nothing for government money while her redneck baby daddy is working on a construction project funded by tax dollars. They're both on the dole. It's just one is stupid enough to work for it. See the rural internet projects all over right now. The good ole boy network had that queued up and ready to go as soon as they got their blue friends to push it through. Never seen a government program work so fast. Those boys on the local crew running lines seemed a little peeved when asked how they liked working for socialists.

According to Thomas Sowell, there is no such thing as trickle down economics.

Why doesn't somebody in the Republican Party say this? Grrrrrrr.... There is a lot of things the republicans won't say. Like Conservative Americans. Tax paying Americans. Working Americans. Legal Americans. I don't get it. kwg
