Well, not quite summer yet maybe, but Spring has certainly sprung. Lander WY 58 degrees at 11:00 AM, sun shining brightly in a clear blue sky, snowdrifts melting, people driving around with the car windows open, women walking around in shorts grin, birds chirping, vehicles being washed, lawns being mowed. Wonderful. Will be snowing again by next week probably.

I'm optimistic. It must be spring. The robins been crapping on my deck posts for a week now, the yard snow should be gone in a few more days, except the berm on the NW side of the garage from slide-off, and shaded N sides.

I planted strawberries sets yesterday, but up here, we gotta cheat. They like warm feet.

Forecast calls for a low of 26 tonight, but we had a high of 60 just a couple days ago! Yep, it's gotta be spring!

I'll cover the strawberries.......

My prairie dog patches are at about 7000' , gullies still have 20' drifts in them, will be middle of May-first part of June before I can even think about getting out there. PD's have been getting scarcer and scarcer over the last few years, plague and severe drought taking their toll on them. Where I used to get 300 shots a day, I now get 40 if I'm lucky.

Or big tornados, earthquakes, high humidity, and tsunami's. That's why everyone is moving here. Rather have a threat of calamity to scare them away.
