Wishing years of happiness and health for both of you and the boy. Thanks. He's got a Henry 44-40 he's never shot. I managed to find him some ammo on GB. I'm going to take him to shoot it and check the POI next week on some land they have nearby. And let him shoot some of my more-modern weapons. His dad doesn't do that kind of thing with him.

So just how did you meet this sexy lass? Online. IMO, it’s the only way to go for people like me. I could spend years trying other ways and would never have met someone like her. I had a lot of contact and dates with a number of other ladies, but the day after I met her, I shut it all down. I knew I had found “the one.” Mercifully, she feels the same way. That’s the way to do it nowadays it seems. I have a friend who was widowed, when he was ready to start looking again he went online. IIRC took about a year. Now he’s happy and I’m happy for him.

Good luck. I'm a retired military guy myself, married a smoke show 10 years younger than I twenty something years ago .... it has worked out. It takes work, as you probably know, but ours has worked-out really well. After having three daughters from my first wife, my second gave me a Son who graduates from college next week. It went by fast.
Life is good. I hope yours is as good.

It's interesting how some of the fine, intelligent women I dated have been with complete [bleep]-heads in the past. They have been so thankful for the basic things I do. For example, when my lady was at work on Friday, I took her 15-yr-old son out to get a Mother's Day card and flowers from him to her. No one ever had done that for her before. And it's just basic courtesy.
