He played Mark McCain in the Rifleman, among other roles in western movies.

He was 75.

He was better at playing Mark than he was at singing. The Rifleman was better than 99% of the junk on the TV today.

R.I.P. Mr. Crawford. Was he in any other TV or movie productions ? "The Rifleman" was a good show and he played his part well.

Yep. The Duke gut-shot the kid, and he committed suicide.

Wifey and I saw Johnny in California, his singing was OK. He took time to talk to people after the show.

The Rifleman was one of the best of the TV westerns. Taught and reinforced good values. And there was good gun handling too. Like a lot of kids in that day, I wanted to be Mark McCain. RIP Johnny.

Never did like much that Chuck Conners played in, and that includes 'The Rifleman'. Dont know much about Johnny Crawford. May he RIP.
