What Tucker fails to comprehend, is that a political party is NOT there to represent it's supporters, but instead to represent it's officials and elected persons. The ONLY reason for a party to exist, is to get it's elite reelected. They don't give a damn about the people.

Every time Republicans have control of a House or Senate, they "reach across the aisle" to look like nice guys....every single time. Bunch of putzes.
Democrats stick together regardless and stick it to the electorate. as one wag said long ago, "When the dhimmicrats win the election, they take POWER. When the Republicans win the election, they take office." Republicans, for the most part, are more than content to be the minority party. They get the same pay, have the same opportunities to sell their votes and influence, and can blather on TV about the evil dhimmicrats. They are not held responsible for what happens, and can always say "we are the opposition".

Republicans just want to control the Tax money. Over the years I have tried to support anyone that would challenge McConnell, Cornyn and all others that betray the trust of their constituents to no avail. They have managed to stack the deck in their favor. McConnell gets re-elected with democrat votes. He capitulates with democrats just to get a bill passed. Both parties have refused to pass any form of budget in decades preferring continuing resolutions of the madness. It cannot get better until we get rid of these leaches. Probably 90% of congress; both parties are corrupt and need to be jailed. McConnell is the Webster's icon of what is wrong with our govt.
Slaves get what they need. Free men get what they want. Rehabilitation is way overrated. Orwell wasn't wrong. GOA member disappointed NRA member 24HCF SEARCH

I would say the problem with the GOP is that their constituency largely believes we still live in the country we were taught about in 9th grade Civics class, and they're more than willing to play along with that fantasy.
