Anybody do a store pickup after ordering online? What if you don't want it when you inspect it at the store? Do they charge shipping if you don't want it?
Lots of folks on Gunbroker want to charge shipping and a CC fee. Supposedly tax now too.

I’ve here had any issues with Cabelas on any type of purchase. I’ve had good luck with selling rifles to them as well. Always got fair and honest pricing and explain actions on their valuation. Sometimes, I sold, sometimes I kept. If you don’t like what you ordered, they will refund before you take it out of the store. They are pretty strict on trigger testing and will keep the lock on till you are out the door. That can be a deal breaker for some when purchasing a used firearm through them.

Lots of folks on Gunbroker want to charge shipping and a CC fee. Supposedly tax now too. I ordered 3 guns from them, paid online with a CC and picked them up at the store. They were as advertised and so no problem, I simply filled out the paperwork, NICS check and went home with them. But I most certainly wouldn't do it now that Bass Pro Shops has taken them over.

I've bought three rifles online and picked them up at Cabelas. Two from other Cableas stores and one individual.
If you buy from them the transfer is free. If you buy from someone else they charge you a transfer fee. I can't recall but seems like its 25 bucks transfer fee from other than Cabelas.
Thanks, Billy

Yes I have. Nothing negative to it. I’ve been very pleased.
