The Missouri House just voted 117 -23 to bar state and local governments from implementing restrictions on businesses, churches, or other non- public entities during public health emergencies, except in certain circumstances. I am very thankful for how our state officials have governed during this whole debacle.

Iowa has done the same thing. It's good to have republicans in control of State government.

And we have been mask free the entire past year. And no more of us are dying than anywhere else.....If we could just get Illinois to annex west St Louis we'd be solid.

The funny part is Biden and the crew still think they are controlling our daily lives.

Been maskless and living life for a year.

This whole thing is the tail wagging the dog.

Good point jar. On second thought, Missouri really isn’t that good of a place to live folks! We are just a bunch rednecks and hillbillies. Our idea of higher education is moving on up to the 9th grade.

I have lived most of my life in North Arkansas. I like MO and wouldn't mind living in MO. Lots of woods in Southern.

Yeah it's not a place to move to. We've got ticks, chiggers, copperheads, thorny locust, poison oak and ivy, bald faced hornets, mosquitoes, multiflora rose bushes, farm equipment on the 2 lane roads during planting and harvest season, heat, humidity, ice storms and tornados. The californians and new yorkers would probably be much happier staying put and we native Missourians will be happy if they stay away.

Crazy that there needed to be a law passed.

Wonder why the 23 were against it?

Lieberal's most likely. They exist even in Missouri.

Probably Representatives from the K.C., Columbia and ST. Louis areas. Those are our liberal areas.

Whoever introduced multiflora rose needs to be hogtied and dragged behind a horse through a large patch of it - repeatedly.

Same with thorny locust.
