Hope you have better luck than I did starting out. Bring the ammonium nitrate inside and let it dry real good before you go hog wild.

Are you going to make black powder ? I made 5 lbs a while back. going to make flash powder now. Summer '98 or '99 my wife's uncle made some flash-powder. He put a foam squishy ear-plug part-way down an arrow. Added the flash-powder. Put a shotgun primer on the end of the arrow pointed towards the powder then epoxied a steel .177 BB onto the primer and the primer/BB to the arrow. "Dukes of Hazzard Arrows" is what we called them. It's been 22-23yrs since I've seen one. It's too bad ashholes have to ruin fun stuff.

the firecrackers I made with black powder each hold 24 grams of powder. The ones with flash powder will be the same.
