In need of a turret cap for a Nikon buckmaster 3x9 scope. My buddy tasked me with finding a cap for this Nikon scope. The rifle it's on has a massive amount of sentimental value to him, and he wants to keep using it as it sets. Perhaps the caps from a prostaff is the same, or someone knows where to source nikon parts? With my calipers it measures... .884 I.D of cap 1.078 O.D of cap .459 tall The threads on the scope turret itself is .897
I took a pic of the remaining cap, but i get the BS image is to large message, so here's a generic pic of the scope in question.
I’ve lost caps before and called the manufacturer. Nikon will probably send him one for free. But who knows with them getting out of the scope business,

I thought i'd read somewhere that Nikon would no longer provide support for their scopes, but i haven't called. I have a few old gloss tasco scopes and the caps off those fit good, but no where close to a match in appearance.
You may want to try one from another make - such as Bushnell or Leupold. Had a similar issue with a 6.5X20 Monarch. Nikon would not provide a replacement, eventually found a Leupold cap that fit.
