Ive got a Remington 700 TI Short Action Stock. Ive been told this is a 2nd Gen stock because it had the hinged floorplate cutout. I bought it several years ago but never used it. Its in great shape with no scratches or gouges, but does have a couple light marks on it. The barrel channel has been sanded out slightly I assume for free-floating a barrel but it can be bedded easily. $225 shipped. PM me for additional pics.

I’d say most likely it isn’t a takeoff and was just purchased as a bdl from B&C. As you were correctly told, all the first gen ti were adl - so someone would have had to convert it if this were the case. The gen II (Alaskan) ti were bdl ... but the paint scheme was different than what your pictures show.
Does your stock have a bedding block or just pillars? Can’t tell from pics.
I compared this stock next to my 700 Ti in 270, first gen. It is definetly a Remington Ti stock as it has exact pad, texture, color. Looking closer it does look like it was a ADL and modified to a BDL but it looks good. It has the pillars as far as I can tell.
