I just bought a used weaver 3-9x40 scope with the ballistic-x reticle. It didn't come with any paperwork and I cannot find the distance between the dots. I even emailed weaver and I havnt heard back and that was 2 weeks ago. If anyone knows what the spacing is that would be helpful. I'm mounting it on my wife's sporterized springfield 1903A3

I have a Weaver Kaspa 3X9 with the ballistic reticle and at 9 power measuring on the grid of my boresighter, the 3 hash marks are 3 inches 5 inches and 9 inches, and to the bottom of the thin crosshair where it meets the thicker duplex is 16 inches, all down from the center crosshair.

Weaver used to have a link for this with data on different calibers, but since they got out of the scope business, they killed the online link.

Does that equate to 3, 5, 9, and 16 inches at 100 yards?

Yes, I forgot to mention that. Again, this is a rough but fairly accurate estimate taken by looking through the scope at the boresighter mounted in the barrel of the gun. The grid pattern on the bore sighter is for 100 yards.

From the center crosshair, at 9 power, at 100 yards, the first hash mark is 3 inches down, 2nd hash mark is 5 inches down, 3rd is 9 inches down and bottom of the thin duplex wire where it meets the thicker one is 16 inches down.
Again, all measurements given are down from the center crosshair, not the distance in between each other.
