Waiting on Glock parts.
Killing me ....
USPS.......
Arrgh....

Get my UPS delivered stuff in the morning at the main hub on hold for pick up in person.
Then I got about 3 or 4 hours tomorrow of trigger disassembly, polishing parts, and reassembly.
Factory setting this trigger is 5.25 pds.
Hoping to get it down to 4.50 maybe a hair above 4.25.
Install a Dawson adjustable tritium night sight.
Only mod I'm gonna do is clip 1.5 coil off the firing pin plunger spring.
I aint buying a spring kit just for a reduced power one.
All too easy to DIY.
Tommorow will be a enjoyable day.

Fugg paying a " smithy" for the same exact work and methods you can do yourself....
" Smithy,s" over rate their basic work skill to customers/ the gullible at times around here.
Most schit they do aint working on a mars rover.
Anyone with basic mechanical common sense and a good selection of hand tools can do this work.

Going OEM on the springs and connector minus the 1.5 clipped coil.
See how much improvement can be done versus mcarbo, apex, wolff, and ghost aftermarket stuff.

Which model Glock are you working on?

They are super easy to completely take apart and work on. After putting an Apex trigger in my M&P 2.0 5" doing a trigger job/swap on a Glock is stupid easy.

Scope base took 2 weeks to show up.
Place ordered from didnt even ship it til a week had gone by.

Got my Wilson 1911 thumb safety Sat. Ran out of time to install this weekend.

I need a week of tiddies n beer, then a week to do gun chit.
Never did zero my reflex on turkey gun. Used backup gun the two times I got out. Wasted two morning i could have slept in.

Gun projects are more PITA than fun anymore.
Am sick of messing w old fugged up chit.

May abandon the #3 project and part it out.

Lol!!!

Nope ..

Just some basic friction mitigation stuff on trigger components to lessen up poundage.

BTDT before on other Glocks, S&W,s, CZ,s
Ect ect ect.
Usually can get 1 to 1.25 off em doing a indepth polish job.

Done spring kits also.
1.5 to 2 you can usually get off em tied in with a indepth polishing.

Was looking at a ghost 3.5 edge connector to address slight overtravel.

Always an option .
Just wanna see what I can get the pistol down too OEM.
And doing the spring clip on the plunger.

Yep, lots of tuning on Tupperware is swapping stuff and fooling with different/modified springs.

The 1911 not so much. Good tools and some knowledge to get good safe triggers.

Old chit vs new.

I enjoy getting decent 1911's cheap (or used to, before half the world went to chit) because somebody took it to a "smith" for trigger or reliability work and got it back in worse shape than it was to start with.

There are gun smiths and then there are gun plumbers. In my experience most really good smiths are excellent machinists.

Have fun!

No pistol will ever measure up to The 1911 .45 Rem Rand I was assigned at Carson as a 60 gunner.
Didnt have pop up e types where a hit counted and knocked it down.
Old paper tgts at 25 yds.
I shot 280 to 290,s regularly and a 300 twice qualifying with that pistol.
POA/POI dead on hold was money for me with it.
Fresh bushing in it.

Then we got the M9,s in germany.....
Sloppiest damm pistol ever IMO.
Figure out POA to POI for just about every one of em.
You was blessed if ya had one that was GTG...
The army had ta send back 10,s of 1000,s of em.
Cracked receiver faces around the firing pin holes.

Nawwwwww....
I take care of my gear.

I'm sure you and many others do also.

Let people on vids torture test gear that get paid for it with sponsered gear.

So the rest of us can be informed consumers.

I am concerned about you and the others'.
You'll spend forever somewhere. It can be in heaven IF your trust is in the true Christ.

"And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life."

I John 5:20, 7

Jesus is the Word. God is the Father, God is the Word, and God is the Holy Spirit. However, the Father is not the Word and is not the Holy Ghost...

" For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one."

1x1x1=1 God, 3 Persons

John 10:32...
"Jesus answered them, Many good works have I shewed you from my Father; for which of those works do ye stone me?
The Jews answered him, saying, For a good work we stone thee not; but for blasphemy; and because that thou, being a man, makest thyself God."

Both The Man and The God Almighty

"Then saith he to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing.28
And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God.
Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.
And many other signs truly did Jesus in the presence of his disciples, which are not written in this book:
But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name."

John 20
