Is the Fullfield II 4.5-14 model as good a scope as the 3-9? All the praise I see here is for the 3-9 so it got me wondering. If not, can you recommend a scope in this power range and approximate price range with a ballistic reticle?

Those comments are all about the E1 - how similar is it to the Fullfield II?

The Fullfield II is going to have the eyepiece that turns when you adjust the power. Also, the E1 will have side focus, whereas the II will have an adjustable objective.

The eyepiece is more of a personal preference/flip-up scope cap issue, but as for side focus vs. adjustable objective, I think most would agree that side focus is the way to go (E1)....

I have one on a 270 antelope rifle and, except for the weight...heavy, it's a very good scope.

Mine’s been on at least three rifles from .17M2 up. No issues. Pretty nice scope for $190.

I have 1 FFII and 2 Droptine models of this magnification. I like them all and can't really identify much difference between the FFII and Droptines. I actually like the Droptine model's windage and elevation adjustments a little better,
I have not yet. compared the two models side by side in low light conditions to see if one performs better than the other.
