I haven’t seen a post from him in a good while. I always enjoyed his knowledgeable comments about handguns and handgun shooting.. I think he was good friends and a shooting buddy with Mackay Sagebrush here on the fire.

Are you NRA certified instructors?
How many FORMAL certified classes have you been chief instructor for, done the classroom instruction or been on the line as an instructor...

That was an "interesting" thread. I don't think he liked it when he found out that he wasn't top dog in teaching experience around here.

But it's kinda CNN to cherry pick through his post to blow it up. The apology doesn't change what he did. But it changes greatly the perception of the man's character. I DGAS about that measuring contest. Read it just out of bored curiosity. But when I got to that post, was a bit surprised.

I liked his posts for the most part, but we differed on the subject in the stated thread. He was a good long range revolver shooter by all accounts.
He should post again in my opinion

I like the hell outta Bob. He stops by the ranch on his way across country, and I always enjoy our time together. He put off this trip a few days ago, so haven't got to hang out with him. Hell of a pistolero.....
