if y'all ever watch God Family and Guns on You tube, offer up your thoughts on this one. I have my opinions.

There is absolutely no way I can watch one of their vids. Those folks are retards. They make BigDaddyHoffman look like a quality professional.

I still have a .32 ACP that's occasionally in my carry rotation, which is my Kel-Tec P32, but I don't much shoot it. Shot it a bunch when I first got it, which let me know it was reliable, but after that, there's not much need to shoot it (Just occasionally clean it good, and relubricate it). I can certainly make use of it within its intended range even absent any practice. So that means that the ammo I already have is likely all I will ever need, so no huge deal if it becomes almost impossible to acquire ammo for.

But it's likely (though not certain) that these bad times will eventually pass us by, and ammo will be available again.

380 will be gone before 40s&w

It’s hard to find when times are relaxed

when they are out of everything, there is almost always 40s&w sitting around

Local observations in my area though

I can believe the .25 & .32 ACPs going away, but not .41 Mag and .40 Short & Weak.

Maybe .32 H&R Mag?? It never really had a chance before .327 Federal came along. I think both should be useful for certain purposes, but if you already have a .357 why would you bother?

I guess time will tell as it always does. If the ammo shortage starts subsiding why wouldn't ammo makers start up as they have before on making the less popular rounds? On the other hand if the ammo shortage continues for a year or more why wouldn't more companies be stepping up production? As in expanding manufacturing instead of just over working people and equipment. Wouldn't it be great to actually have a president that wanted tax breaks for them to do just that.

Interesting video. Before watching it, I had figured the 25 ACP and 41 Mag. were on the list. I was correct on those but I was wrong thinking the 45 GAP would also be included.

There is 0% chance the .40 is going away. Too many guns out there, and it's a good round despite the increasing popularity of 9mm.

the thing about .380 is it is too easy to make..
as long as they make .223 brass and 9mm projectiles you have the components for .380

40 ain't going anywhere. 10mm will die before the 40 will. Maybe this outfit thinks the 30-06 is going dodo bird.

As I do from time to time (and it never works) I tried to pare down my calibers. 40 was one I decided I didn't need and got rid of two of them. Then I found a bunch of ammo I'd stashed, so I just bought another 40.

The 40 isn't flashy, it just works. Mine is stashed beside the bed in a drawer along with five 15 rd mags.

Yup no shortage of 40 ammo here either but there is a serious shortage of users that can handle and full throttle 180 gr loads. Folks that cast their own bullets and reload them don't gaf what amateurs like. No shortage on dumbasses making videos for you tube either.

IMO, regardless of what the dork in the video says, the .40 IS right in between the 9mm and the .45 ACP. There are no flies on either of them, so what is wrong with the .40 S&W (other than not being a 10mm, which is fine also)?
