Remington 700 with a lot of custom touches in 338/06. Shoots quite softly with the Decelerator pad and performance of the partitions on several Michigan whitetails just as good as you'd expect.

Shilen #3 CM cut at 24" (.635" at muzzle). 11 degree crown in nice shape. Bolt fluted and lightening holes in handle. Cerakoted olive drab. Smithing done by Twisted Barrels. Timney trigger. McMillan Classic Edge ADL grey with black specks w/13-1/2" LOP.

Some rub marks on the cerakote on the underside of the barrel otherwise it’s in great shape.

An outstanding caliber, mine loves 210 Nosler partitions. If I didn’t already have another one in the works, I would definitely be looking at that one.

Weight?

If I remember correctly, the Shilen #3 is their sporter weight barrel so it should not be overly heavy.

How’s it group? And estimated rounds down the pipe? Are you the original owner?

It’s still available. Was asked about ammo or reloading components. I have 31 rounds of Nosler-brand 210gr partition ammo, 28 additional pieces of 1X brass, and a 50ct box of 210 partitions to go with it. $1275 for the rifle & ammo/components.

I’m not the original owner so not sure how many rounds total on it. I’ve put 29 through it. All Nosler-brand 210 partitions and the remainder is available with the rifle. I had no issue getting 1-1.25” with it at 100yds with a Meopta 4C illuminated reticle....fantastic hunting reticle, but a 1MOA center dot at 6X doesn’t make it an ideal bench reticle.

Bump with a price drop to $1250 for rifle, ammo, and components.

Wanted to mention that based on info from the previous owner, the smithing completed putting the rifle together was done by Twisted Barrel.
