I’m not sure why PB is giving me a hard time today. I’ll fix it later.

Scotty What was the weight difference between the Hunters Edge and the Legend?

Scotty, that rifle is a dog.
Send it to me and I'll dispose of it for you.
Weaver has a Kimber Montana of mine waiting on a 358 reamer.

33-34 ounces vs 23’ish for the Hunters EDGE. I ordered the Hunters EDGE as a Flat top so Weaver did all of the inletting for me. Yeah, I gotta say I’m beyond happy. I shortened them 25 thou and stuck them into 1 hole. I’m not sure why PB is being such a pain but I’ll figure it out. The good thing is it hammers with 175 BBCs as well, to the same POI as the ABLRs with a 1/2 grain less powder. Got lucky.

Nah, I swapped it over to my 300 RUM Gunner. A little weight on that one doesn’t bother me as much.

10-4, thought you may have had a place to bolt it too or another project in mind.

They’re about the same as a McMillan Gunner. I think Darcy is still selling them for 600 a piece. So no, not cheap but not totally out of this world either.

Scotty, Today if you wanted a Super 7 would you get a Mashburn or neck down a 300 PRC?
Some time ago I chased the super 7’s but I have gotten conservative regarding distances. Now, 440 seems like a very long ways to me. Also a Super 7 needs to weigh close to 8# and I want something less.

Nice remodel job Beretzs, you're working with two of my favorite stocks.

Rick, if I was doing it today I’d do a 28 Nosler and get rid of all the fuss. No messing around at all, just buy ADG brass and set the gun up for the bullet of choice. I’m so far into dies at this point and have piles of brass I won’t likely change, but I’d recommend a 28 Nosler to anyone that wants a hot rod 7. Handwerk, thank you. I like the stocks quite a lot myself. Maybe the only thing would be a blend of the two in the Bridges stock which I like quite a lot as well.

Nice rifle! Mashburn's was a good gunstore. Art was an interesting guy and they turned out some fine rifles.
