Up FS is a used Leupold VX-III 8.5-25x50 Long Range , matte finish with fine duplex reticle, 30mm tube

This one was taken in with a trade so I have not used it myself, but all it looks to be in fine shape, with clear lenses, only a couple of small nicks in the finish, the adjustments feel firm, etc. One odd thing - as can be seen in the pics it has two darker places where the rings were. The are not ring marks , being perfectly smooth. Maybe it was some type of insert, padding, tape, etc?
