I always loved my Benchmade Onion automatic. Not so much because I needed to stabby, cutty someone, but because I need one hand a lot. The last I remember was cutting a corn sack open with it. I looked for it again today.
This high end Spyderco that my son gave me is actually a little more "stabby, cutty" than I prefer.
Remember... people get compressed when you stick 'em (I hope to never do that.) A 3' blade will go completely through them.

These open with one hand: Yup. Do they make any quality blades? I used them a lot 30 something years ago, but they were all pretty cheesy.

Do they still make it? I just checked their website and only saw stuff in the $500 range. I use and lose knives... .

So what you're looking at may be the latest and greatest. But Cutlery Shoppe seems to still have the version I use: https://cutleryshoppe.com/benchmade...-wee-hawk-blade-stainless-steel-handles/

^^^This^^^ Hard to beat, IMO. Absolutely love mine. Guess my second choice would be on of my many Bowie knifes. And I’ve always got my OTF Double Edged Switchblade in my back pocket. Mine is a Protech Dark Angel. Last I looked, they run about $275, though.

Clearly of Elvin make. I bet it glows in proximity to orks and goblins. "elven" That's a Buck Cunnilingus. It's more slashy than stabby.

QUICK question? Have we all moved on from Benchmade allowing their equipment to be used to cut up/destroy firearms from several years ago? I just need to know so I know if it is ok to buy them again?
