Not so much because I needed to stabby, cutty someone, but because I need one hand a lot. The last I remember was cutting a corn sack open with it. I looked for it again today. This high end Spyderco that my son gave me is actually a little more "stabby, cutty" than I prefer. Remember... people get compressed when you stick 'em (I hope to never do that.) A 3' blade will go completely through them. The only thing worse than a liberal is a liberal that thinks they're a conservative.
