What does that have to do with anything? I mean, air conditioning or the lack thereof clearly ain’t relevant else you woulda said something. All I’ve pointed out here is prior behavior is the best indicator of probable future behavior when it comes to romance. It's getting chippy...... Big Jim hates showers and bed sheets or pillow cases........ But throwing down on others AC and tempered water, And now that Dear Abby has arrived, 20 pages by bed time.

I think "which one" is a completely separate question/thought exercise than "is it time to divorce".
The divorce question needs to stand on its own 2 feet regardless of next steps.
I am divorced - didn't divorce because of other options, was bad marriage to begin with. AFTER - when some of those old "we've known each other forever, always tension there, we should see" came up. Crash and burn every time. We're still good friends but as a relationship - no way. Same for others I know.
Divorce may be what's needed and it might start you on the path to being happy. Just don't be surprised if the 2 choices presented here aren't what ultimately makes you happy.

Hell...another thing I learned is that the whole "stay together till the kids are gone" idea is sometimes worse for the kids too.
Bad relationships are bad relationships. Everyone knows its bad. Even these dumb kids nowadays.
You can do as much or more damage to a kid by staying together as you can by separating.

You can do as much or more damage to a kid by staying together as you can by separating. Most kids know it's bad even if they can't explain it right away. And at an age MUCH younger than you'd think. Talking 4 and 5 years old - kids are smart, all they do is watch mom, dad and spongebob. They pick up on things.
