I can agree with the being happy part and kudos for sticking together so long for the kids sake. I did that too mostly because I took that vow, but I got a second opportunity at it when I lost my first wife to cancer. There is some pretty good advice on this forum, but lets just say that all the fellas haven't been exactly spot on historically on lots of topics, so take that into consideration. The Internet is your friend for finding nearly anything, just maybe not 24H for great advice on honey hunting. Take some time and do your own thing for a while. Getting right back on another horse after you've been thrown, isn't the best way to find yourself a thoroughbred.

Maybe your definition of unfaithful is different than mine; in my book a man who maintains relationships with multiple women not his wife (to say nothing of bragging about it online) has been unfaithful whether he has had sex with one of them or not.
Love isn’t a feeling all the time; sometimes it’s merely fulfilling of responsibilities. Being that a relationship is between two people, if one person decided to fulfill their obligations at least (say… hypothetically) half the time that makes the relationship 25% better than it would be if they never did so at all.
The sentimental romanticism of some men here demonstrates in no small part why our society is falling apart. The family is the building block of society and the presence of a real man is the mortar that holds it together.
If you’ve already decided to get a divorce the least I would do if I were you is set aside some time to be single and focus upon self improvement by asking yourself what you can do in the future to keep this from happening again. Going from one woman to another after a divorce seems like folly.

As for the “’til death do us part, my word is my bond” crowd, don’t be so smug. Everyone focuses on the “death do us part” part and not the “love, honor and cherish” part. You can honor a commitment to stick around until someone dies, but no oath can force you to love, honor and cherish someone you don’t in spite of any good faith and best beliefs and intentions on the front end. So, the sticking around part when the love is gone just assures mutual misery and/or a lifelong roommate instead of a life partner. Kids pick up on that, too, and it is an unhealthy life lesson for them. I’ve got some experience with that one.

I am divorced - didn't divorce because of other options, was bad marriage to begin with. AFTER - when some of those old "we've known each other forever, always tension there, we should see" came up. Crash and burn every time. We're still good friends but as a relationship - no way. Same for others I know.
Divorce may be what's needed and it might start you on the path to being happy. Just don't be surprised if the 2 choices presented here aren't what ultimately makes you happy.

You are correct the bible was written (edited and redacted) by men. Therefore it should be read carefully looking for omissions and additions. The Old Testament is much nearer original than the New. Solomon is accepted as the author of Proverbs. Solomon was the richest and most wise man of all time and an absolute monarch. In Proverbs and Ecclesiastes he admits his mistakes and gives some pretty good advice.

Had a grand mal seizure, amperlamps came took me to the ER then I had another and split the big bone in my upper arm against the rail on the hospital bed, had to get 3 screws in it, got a few more scares.

STX and me go back now what, 14 years, and shared adventures in 7 states on a couple dozen occasions? And Doc and I, who actually know him and care deeply for him and would do damn near anything to look out for and try to protect him from harm, including from himself are to be scolded and chastised by a faceless name on a forum who Rog' doesn't know and has never met? I never came out and said it as you were so excited and totally convinced that you'd never have to worry about money again so I chose not to come out and just tell you point blank what I think. Plus, you never asked and aren't asking me now but here it comes anyway... There is no multimillion dollar inheritance. There is neither a stock portfolio nor pile of bonds or any real estate. It was a crummy scam from jump and no one's going to inherit even a wooden peso. Truly, I'd LOVE to be proven wrong and will openly apologize for doubting you for not believing what you are so thoroughly convinced to be 100% legit. The paralegal had told them she had gotten them and would drop them off that fri, after that she stop contact with them. when Delia told me she had them and was going to drop them off to her I thought it was true. after that she basically disappeared, that was when I got my buddy Ron involved. I'm not claiming to know much about law and how it works but a simple duck duck go will tell you that "Paralegals may not provide legal services directly to the public, except as permitted by law."
The reason I even dug into it the minuscule bit that I did is because I had a friend that was/is a Paralegal and to me, her job sounded like she was nothing more than a glorified secretary/intern that did the attorneys schidt work.
If "your" Paralegal tried taking this matter in to her own hands hoping for a kick back, she could very well be fughked and possibly screwed the chance of you guys seeing any money anytime soon.
