I just stopped into a local convenience store for something. I was happy to see that (unlike in the past when I was one of the only ones not wearing a mask) the place was busy, but no one was wearing a mask other than the employees, and one man in his forties. He was a couple of places ahead of me in line, and when he got to the register, he asked the cashier how she knew that all these people in the store were fully vaccinated. She just shrugged her shoulders. He then told her that they are all supposed to show her their card proving they've been fully vaccinated if they're not wearing masks. She told him that in Florida, businesses aren't allowed to ask for that. So, now annoyed, he says to her, "So, you're just supposed to go by the honor system that all these people not wearing masks have had the vaccine?" She shrugged her shoulders. He paid, looking annoyed, and left.

I felt like interrupting him and asking how what vaccines people around him in public have had is any of his business.

I bet he's fully vaccinated, too, and just likes to keep wearing his mask.

Shoulda asked him if he was going to keep talking because your fever needed medication and you felt a sneezing fit coming on.

Normally I stay out of other's business, but
We all need to get used to start standing up for each other and strangers in these situations. The representatives no longer represent us if they ever did.
They need an earfull now, because it will only get harder later with the Vax Pass.
I talked to a gal at the store checkout this evening about them. She was fed up with them.
She clearly needed encouragement.

What's great? That this guy was working hard to make sure unvaccinated folks have to wear masks to get service? Or it's great that this guy was frustrated? I agree with the latter.

You should have coughed and cleared your throat a few times..

Being the jerk I am I have cleared my throat leaving a cafe where some people had just came in wearing masks outside, had sat down and taken them off.

I enjoyed getting the completely disgusted looks I was given....

Church Sunday, only two masked.

Of course. A bunch of never-accomplished-anything nobodies were told that by wearing a mask they were heroes. They're not going to give that up easily.

I think that's about it.

Went to a good friend's funeral Saturday. Church was packed. No masks on anyone. He did not die from CV-19. Complications of 7 years of kidney failure.

I'm surprised they didn't stick with that line to push the vaccine.

"First, you saved your neighbors by wearing a mask. Now, you can save the whole world by getting a shot."

Instead, they went with, "Get the shot. It's safe, we promise. Trust us."
