Does someone have a load for this combination: 30-06, Hornady Interbond 165 grains to reach 2900fps? I have only Vihtavuori N140, N-150 and N-160. Im using Lapua cases and CCI 200 primers. Or a combination with Norma powder? American powder is impossibkle for me to get here in Norway. I saw JJHACK used a similar combination in Africa before switching to TSX bullets, but I guess he used american powder.Does this bullet really need a relative high velocity to get accuracy in 30-06?

I used only 4350 and 4831
It's an awesome combination for game under 500 lbs. Exceptional impact reaction and massive internal trauma. For game over 500lbs I would use a TSX every time, but for big game from 100 to 400 lbs the Interbond is simply spectacular.

I would agree with JJ's of massive internal trauma with the Interbonds. It's actually a bit more massive than I like but I can't complain, it kills stuff.
My favorite powder for 165 & 168 grain bullets in the 30/06 is Varget. I've never used them in the 30/06, but the Hornady reloading manual in the section on the M1 Garand recommends Vihtavuori N-150 & N-140.

Sorry, have only ever used the IMR and Hodgdon lines. I would suggest that you don't need the nose bleeding speed of 2,900 fps -- 2800 should be fine! One of the best 165 or 168 loads I ever had as far as accuracy went was with 168 Win MHP and 52 gr of IMR4350 for a MV of under 2,600 fps, IIRC, and that one would shoot bug eyes all day long.

H4350 ... about 58.0g of it should put you where you want to be ...
I had a CZ550 .30-06, and my pet load was Lapua brass, WLR primers, anywhere between 57-59g of H4350, and Hornady Interbonds seated out just shy of the lands ... would shoot 4-5 shots into an inch, and they do a great job of causing serious trauma w/out being ridiculously 'explosive' ...

I just finished an 06 with a 25" Pacnor. My best load was W760 at 57.7 gr, for a muzzle velocity of 3000 averge. This load put 5 in just over a half inch. I tried H 4350 and IMR 4350 the 760 gave me the best accuracy and velocity.
I tried to get some accubonds to shoot but when the Hornadys did what they did for me I quit working on the A bonds.
