That teenager is lucky she didn't get swatted across the face. Very brave, but dumb. Probably not "dumb" so much as incredibly ignorant about real bears and wild life. Most people today have been brought up on Disney clap trap where animals talk and are all warm and fuzzy and harmless, and oh so lovable "Gentle Ben." Most have no idea Nature is not so forgiving and friendly as is depicted countless times in movies and teevee shows. Just my opinion. L.W.

I think I would have held back and let the Bears natural disdain/fear of "dogs" cause it to retreat as did the cubs.
Again thankfully she was not injured.
She was full of adrenaline and moved/pushed very quickly!
