I met Godogs57 at the Blade Show today and got to examine some of his knives up close. I knew that his work was good, but I was impressed with his attention to detail and ability to put out a very well finished knife. He had several different styles and they were all very well done. I'm going to look forward to seeing more of his work in the future...

Charlie (348srfun) and I are manning the Knifemakers Guild table again this year at the show. If any of you make it, stop by and introduce yourselves. Meeting Campfire members is always a good way to spend some time.

Had a great time meeting both old, and new, friends there yesterday! Thanks for the kind words Harry...very much appreciated. Back at work today finishing up two hidden tang knives utilizing elk sheds I found while elk hunting the last few years. One has a 80CRV2 forged blade and another has a file blade. That file has to be 60-75 years old if it’s a day. I’ll post when completed.

A friend of mine was there, Steve Sterling, of S. Sterling Custom Knives, representing both himself and his dad, Murray Sterling. Regrettably, I didn't make it this year.

It was good to see you again Brian. Sorry I didn't get back to your table. Your knives looked good as I expected, built to be used....Very comfortable in the hand. Brian is another maker from the Campfire that does very good work, in a style that is very recognizable and well executed.
