Does anyone have any experience with a Sauer 100? What's the good and bad?

Solid rifle.
Only negative I can think of is, small after market options

All of them do something better than the 30-06, but none of them do everything as well.

Nice trigger, smooth, accurate. A bit on the heavy side.

If I was buying right now I would gravitate towards one. Great looking rifle to boot. I might have a look at a new Mauser for a bit less before buying but think the Sauer would get a nod.

Mine was very accurate, had a nice trigger. But I thought it a bit too heavy, particularly for the caliber (30/06) and LOP just a bit too long - I bought mine on the internet and ended up selling it the same way. Terry

Paid $450 for a 7m08 new a few years ago.........at that price it was a dam gud deal. It's a very well built entry level sauer product. The stock took some getting used to, but it kills stuff.

Compares very favorably with much more expensive rifles.

They're kind of ugly... which matters not in the least if they put the bullet where it needs to go.
