Wonder if that will make bitcoin drop even more?
If each coin has its own code it seems like you'd never really be able to run and hide.

Bb More to the point, I thought the attraction of bitcoin was that government couldn't touch it.
These are my opinions, feel free to disagree.

There is a series on Netflix right now , STARTUP, very interesting, and covers this new "bitcoin" ground, some serious action at times and good acting. I have been bingeing it.

I thought the attraction of bitcoin was that government couldn't touch it. Only the clueless ever thought that. The entire ledger is public, identifying the wallet addresses involved in any given transaction is a feature of the system. In this case it was probably pretty easy for them, since it was their wallet in the first place.

I seem to remember on my income tax form a question about if you had any bitcoin. Need to go back and look. miles
Look out for number 1, don't step in number 2.

I thought cryptocurrencies would be good at certain things like: 1) Smuggling money out of countries 2) Ransom and payment for illegal activities 3) Wealth preservation by avoiding inflation
However, I think the real future may be destroying credit cards(Visa) by offering secure transactions for less than the 3% they charge.

I read that they've recovered 2.3 mill. Half of 4.4 mill is 2.2 so they have over half of it. I guess that technically that's 'most'. There's no set rule but I wouldn't consider it 'most' until they had a much higher % than that.
