kamo gari;
Top of the morning to you sir, I hope that other than some ursine issues that your life is going more or less according to plan.
It's a bit of a timely tale you're telling as we had a little honey colored bear in the yard last night. He shuffled off when I went out onto the deck to get a better look at him, confirming that he was not the cinnamon bear in the yard last fall who not only was chasing my mulie heifers around but most likely was responsible for the ersatz night shift pruning on our fruit trees.
Let's just say we have different goals when it comes to pruning Leighton and we'll leave it at that.
Anyways, I texted the closest neighbors to let them know this little fellow was still about. They all have chickens - we're one of the few that don't - and well, everyone likes chicken, right?
We've got sort of an ascending degree of force here for bears in that we've got a wrist rocket and steel ball bearings kept at the doors, along with pressurized hot sauce too and then of course there's legally stored other options which could be accessed if the situation called for it.
I'll bet that your bear might make a mess of a garden too perhaps?
We've got 80" high deer proof fence for our garden, but bears can climb fences, this too I know for sure.
Thanks for the bear story my friend, good luck with it and all the best.
Dwayne
