Christianity is a religion of sheep. Prussian model government schooling trains sheep. Taken together, most of my kind spent six days per week being conditioned to follow their lead. Anyone with less than middling intelligence has little chance of the necessary critical thinking. Most of those with necessary brain power see that it is easier to figure out how to get on with the system, and rise up within it, than to change it. The net result is most people who think of themselves are conservative Christians have slowly been changed into the same democratic socialists they do not identify with because of some dramatic differences in morality. Overall, though, you're all a bunch of socialists. Go to a local government meeting, watch the "Republicans" and try to deny it.

I am not saying New Testament morality is bad. You just have to take it for what it is and not let it rule you entirely. The fact is most people who will read this, if they reflect on what they believe and compare it to the New Testament, would have a difficult time developing an ethos that does not reflect the good book. To have the morals of anything other than good sheep is to be labeled as evil, which ironically is evil itself.

I am saying that if you're letting your children be "educated" by the government you may as well stop voting or even discussing politics. You offspring are the future. If you let the government have them you may as well give up now.
