My wife thawed out some frozen liver. The bag had quite a bit of blood in it. She diluted it and watered some plants with it. A few weeks later, here's what came of it. This plant is more than 15 years old. It put on some new growth right away and the leaves are huge, far bigger than I've ever seen on it before.
You might pass that on to your wife if she's a house plant fan. This pic is an average old leaf next to an average new one.

I do believe commercially available blood meal (basically dried blood) is a very good source of nitrogen and some other nutrients. I'm not surprised the houseplant did well with the thawed out liver blood.

Bury a catfish under your pot plants. Works great

Every spring I spread about 50lbs of 28-28, or whatever the hell it's called, starter blend on my back yard. The chit we use through the drill for spring wheat.

About 2 weeks later I wonder why in the hell did I do that!

Household Ammonia works, as well, just dilute, and mix in the soil.

Keep in mind that these are HOUSE plants. I'm sure you dead fish and ammonia guys use it, though.

Yeah good one. But, breaking news - took a quick survey and must retract the suggestion -- gang says "no way", they do not want to see the slumsquat.

Apparentlly, interest is squat.

Heck no! Nats are horrible here on the ridge. Anything in the plant food organic attracts the little bastids!

The old man loved when my bros and I would go fishin'

The rose bushes got fresh fish carcasses and guts.

Good reminder, I should get out fishin' soon. If I could find any water. Might be a few streams flowing up in the mountains. Cooler up there too.
