The mulberry tree at my honey hole is ripening late this year, but I took three out of it this morning with the 17-5.

Squawk love them some mulberry. That is late for the mulberry. But then I was fishing last week and a gobbler was hammering away on a ridge above the lake.

Mulberries were a little later here in Southeast Missouri as well but the cooler weather ran much longer this year. Lots of rain too but I'm not sure that plays a role. Turning off way too hot now. When the heat indexes hit triple digits I join the fish in the water. Will wait till the mid August hickory cut to go back afterthem. Continued success to you Longcarbine.

A lot of stuff running late here too. I caught a largemouth last Sunday still full of eggs.

Very nice!! They are just now ripening here, but this state doesn't see fit to have a spring squirrel season.
