What Brand of 7.62x39 Non Corrosive Ammo has the best Reputation for Function and Accuracy.. I’m starting to see some available so now maybe a good time to purchase before the Bi Mental and his Merry Band Spooks the Proletariat..

If you mean between the more common import steel case offerings.. I don’t think there’s a huge amount of difference so I’d get what you can..
Only thing I have noted is Tula seems to be very dirty and slightly less accurate. I don’t require much from this type of ammo so if the price and availability was right I wouldnt pass it up
She never made it past the bedroom door, what was she aiming for...? She's gone shootin..

What are you going to be shooting it in?
I try to stick with the basics, they do so well. Nothing fancy mind you, just plain jane will get it done with style. You want to see an animal drop right now? Shoot him in the ear hole. BSA MAGA

In my limited experience, accuracy varies from gun to gun, and ammo to ammo. I set my expectations at about 3.0 MOA, and I'm not disappointed too often. Here are some 100-yard targets with Tula, and Golden Tiger, from a couple different rifles. 20" rifle with floated barrel, Same 20" rifle, shooting Tula and handloads at 100 yards, Golden Tiger at 100 yards from a 16" carbine, I like the Golden Tiger. Lacquered case, sealed bullet, sealed primer. 124gr boat tail has a little better BC than the 122/123gr flat base. Bottom line, it's not precision ammo. Get what you can at a reasonable price and enjoy.

I personally like wolf
On thing I found with my Mini 30 wolf fires every time Tula I think has a bit harder primers and once in a while I get some that will not fire seems the primers need a harder strike

I have used a bunch of Monarch with good results. The paradox with the 7.62x39 is cheap steel cased ammo and relatively expensive hunting ammo.

Buy several of what you can get try em out, buy more of what works and don't discount Tula, they make a Range Friendly bullet now, but I wouldn't buy cases yet because ammo is creeping back on shelves. You'll pay twice as much now as you will later on.
I would have got him too but a Dad Blam snow flake hit me in da eye....

I'm not too picky about which steel case ammo I buy, as long as it's non-corrosive. For something better, I did get set up to handload some Hornady 155gr ELD-M. I need to get back on that horse and finish that project up. From the 20" barrel, 2230 fps or so is realistic, with a decent BC 155gr.

I've never had an issue with Tula Ammo but I'm still shooting old stock. Can't speak for new production.

You didn't use logic or reason to get into this opinion, I cannot use logic or reason to get you out of it.

My choice was to keep it supersonic further out, and the 155gr ELD-M at 2200 fps holds 1300 fps/500+ ft-lbs at 700 yards, while staying on the ACSS reticle in the 3X optic. A steel/rock shooter.
