A little early for silvers. If there are any they will be puny.
Consider jigging for black rockfish on light tackle - 5 fish limit per day. They are pretty big on the outer coast.

Leaving Ketchikan in a couple of hours. Too early for salmon (wide open starting today), a handful of hali's and a chitload of crab. We knew so going in but it was a birthday celebration. Booked for September next year.
