Good links. American Woke-ists are fond of comparing the US to European nations, because they're "developed" and so are we... but European nations differ from the New World (Americas) markedly in many respects, not the least of which is that they are ethnically homogeneous. When we compare the numbers for nations in the Americas the U.S. looks a heck of a lot better than most of our neighbors. As always good post Doc. Our only neighbor remotely like the USA is Canada

The OP is goddam dumb. A lot of people are. With that said, unless police training has changed over the past few decades, it can be improved upon.

The problem is not the police officers training.
The problem is that we have a justice system that releases violent criminals back into society at the cyclic rate. Until that issue is addressed, things aren't going to get better.

Dont want to worry about getting shot by a cop then dont break the law in the first place And when the laws are unjust? System's broken. Law enforcement just protects criminals from good people nowadays. Defund 'em and we'll sort it out in short order.

Dont want to worry about getting shot by a cop then dont break the law in the first place ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^THIS^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^AND dont resist arrest My son went through the Phoenix Police Academy............They invited family down for a couple different events..............I was impressed at the amount of training they got.....I gained a lot of respect for them. That said I know a lot of small town and county sheriff depts dont get the better training though.

Our only neighbor remotely like the USA is Canada Canada's population is only 3.5% Black and well over 1/3 of them live in Toronto. Maybe there is a good rational reason U.S. police shoot Blacks at a higher percentage than they do Whites? Haven't Blacks proven themselves more homicidal than Whites? How do U.S. Whites stack up against European Whites as to homicide rates? Lets leave suicide out of it.
