Yep....a bit “toasty”! Yesterday 100 F, today’s prediction ....up to107! I guess’n and hoping that we only see 103 or so! Down here in the river bottom, our humidity is running in the low teens.....not sure what it may be up above! memtb

We're supposed to be in the 115-117 rsnge, but smoke from fires may block some sun so maybe not quite that hot.

We should be home by 9:00 tonight and it appears it will be 70 or so. Then warm up to the high 80's come the weekend.

Oh....but the fishing was awesome at high noon today. There were so many speckled trout on top that the alligators were catching them. Redfish under them. Now it's Bud Light and Aloe vera time.

That humidity will dry you out fast! You really have to be careful. You don't realize how much water you are losing.

Just went out to refill the bird bath for the third time today. Poor little birdies are just about camped out at it and hardly fly away even when I'm there cleaning it. The goldfinches and house finches are neat and tidy; the robins are bullies and throw water everywhere.

96 degrees and 85% humidity feels like 107. Hard to cool off when the humidity is high- nothing evaporates

Just heard from my uncle, in Pahrump NV, this afternoon. At 5 pm it had hit 115 degrees. Peaked at 76 here today and had a few hailstorms. Big change from day to day here; not so much in Pahrump. GD
