I just received 500 pieces of Starline brass this morning. One week to my door. I just thought I would mention them for anyone who may not be aware of Budget. They are located in Surrey, BC.

They are one of several suppliers of Lapua and Vihtavuori powders, among other things. I was couriered some powder this morning as well. They are in Ottawa.

Budget is run by a really nice husband and wife team. I buy from them regularly and pick up at their rural shop. I know they use Canpar a lot, so hopefully they have found a replacement shipper for powder and primers.

I bought from them and was happy. They seem to do their best to satisfy customers.

The Canpar thing is a real headache.
Everything is in turmoil for some vendors who are negotiating new contracts with new couriers.

It's nice to be able to give your business to Canadians. With things like firearms and accessories, that can be difficult.

A company called Dicom delivered the powder, so there is an alternative to Canpar. I do not know much about the company other than what I read on their site. They have been around since 1968 and operate across the country.
