This is a friend's rifle I'm trying to help him sell, his brother bought it new fired approximately six rounds, took it hunting once and then his brother died. Basically looks like a brand new rifle with virtually no marks at all on it and can hardly tell it was even fired. Looking to price it reasonably so it sells but some people say it's worth almost $1,200 and others say it's only worth about $600.

I just had back surgery so I'm in and out of consciousness so to speak and not able to get good photos but it looks like a brand new rifle. Any help greatly appreciated. PM your thoughts or I'll check back here from time to time. Thanks!

Thanks kk alaska, that's sorta what I thought also 6-800. The gentleman I'm trying to help wants to ask $900 for it.

I’m in agreement with kk alaska.

$900 in my opinion is a little high....$700 is realistic to sell it reasonably quick.
I just bought a like new LH M77 Mark II in 7mm Rem Mag on Gunbroker about 2 months ago for $605... .with tax, shipping and transfer fee it ended up being $670. I felt like it was a steal for that price but nobody else bid on it. Unfortunately, the LH model in 300 win mag is harder to sell than other calibers...at least from my observations on GB.
These are great hunting rifles capable of fine accuracy with hand loaded ammo. Blued steel and walnut....much nicer than all the plastic stocked budget rifles of today. I’ve owned several over the years...all were shooters...some straight out of the box, others with a little tweeting.

Good luck with the sell.
