Was it when The New Math arose from the depths of Hell with its sets, subsets, and bundles of straws to make a simple thing confusing? Not a real member - just an ordinary guy who appreciates being able to hang around and say something once in awhile. Happily Trapped In the Past (Thanks, Joe) Not only a less than minimally educated person, but stupid and out of touch as well.

"New Math" was started when I was in the 7th grade, which would be in the 1964-1965 school year, at our public school in Louisiana. I had 1 year of it and then back to the regular math.
