I’m thinking Camaro SS

A Convertible is also an option…. But right now I’m looking at really nice looking cars to see what I might want to restore.

If it were you ?

I have owned this one for over 44 years and just last winter decided to replace all the running parts except the rear end. I may not get my money back but it sure is a lot more fun to drive now!

One of my favorites is a 1966 Chevy 2. The one I'm thinking of came with a 350 engine rated at 350 H.P.

Perhaps you will allow me to diverge slightly from "restore". Lord willing next year I will retro-mod a '68-'70 AMX. It should look stock. I want it to be as quiet as a Lincoln. The engine is going to be a Mopar's Helephant hooked to the transmission Mopar suggest.

How’s someone else on internet going to tell you? A Camaro SS would be cool. I’d rather restore Chevelle SS or better yet a truck but it’s a losing money proposition either way. Decide what you want and exactly what level of restoration you want and are willing to spend before you start and a ballpark how much it will cost and then do whatever floats your boat.

Resto-mod is basically what we did to the 56. Still has the original interior, wheels, factory brand paint I had done in 1980 and th plain jane interior of no clock, radio, air etc.

67 SS Chevelle
70 SS Chevelle
Are my first 2 choices. Then it would be a
67-72 Chevy truck
73-87 Chevy truck
Preferably 4x4 3/4 ton
