On the Marlin forum rumor is late this year we will see the first 336's. Seriously doubt that. Especially As far behind in production as all Firearm Manufacturers are due to the Scamdemic and Election panic buying.

I am hoping for a 480 chambering. Don't think they can do it in the 94 but the 95 would be no problem. I will take anything. But would really like a 16" barreled stainless laminate.

Rumors, got to start somewhere. Bet they are working on them as we speak. Will dealer shelves be stocked ? Don't think so. Will we see 1 ? I think so.

Remington had it all pretty much figured out in the last 3 years of production. Fit, finish, wood, sights, accuracy, screws, etc. All were very good, then bankruptcy.
Hopefully, Ruger will just set up the production without messing around too much with innovations.
Of course, reintroducing a plain 336 Texan with both 20" and 16 1/2" barrels would be nice.

Give me a 336 with a 22" barrel, half magazine and pistol grip ala Winchester M64!

One thing you can count on. The first of the new Ruger/Marlins are going to be at hijackers prices. It will be at least a year after the new rifles come out before prices moderate at normal levels.

I'd like to try a .35 remington out.
Bangflop! another skinning job due to .260 and proper shot placement.

I have had a few real Marins for a long time. I didn't need any new Remington Marlins and I doubt I'll need any Ruger Marlins. But if Ruger put out a model like this one in 35 Remington, I'd buy one in every caliber they made it in. I'd really like to see it in 7mmSTE.
