I prefer 27 cal or better. Now can my 6.5x300 Bee take one with a 140 Accubond/Partition/TSX at 3400 fps....sure but I prefer my 300 Bee.

Me too, Fotis. I just have a hard time leaving the .300 Weatherby in the safe if I’m going to be looking for elk. I hope to have an opportunity for a buck with my 6.5-300 Bee w/ 127 gr LRX.

I have killed truckloads of big game with that particular load in my 6.5 Bee!

I only have 15 rounds down the bore; 8 - 127 LRX and 7 - 130 scirocco. Both loads shoot close to same point. Both were Weatherby factory loads and under an inch on a very windy day. I have high expectations for that rifle! Happy Trails
