I had a week planned to hunt antelope in Wyoming to take my time and relax and mess around with them, but I drew a Nevada Mule deer tag that opens October 5. Then, wouldn't you know it, I drew a Maine moose tag for a cow in Unit 2. So my two drawn tags are about 3500 miles apart. Going to be lots of miles on the ol truck this season. And to top it off, I have a deal with my 12 year old if he accomplishes some things, he and I are going to run to the Florida panhandle end of August for some shark fishing and sight seeing. Going to be a really busy year all of a sudden. Only live once I guess. Giddy up!

Congratulations and here's hoping you are successful an all of them! See my sig line.
They say everything happens for a reason. For me that reason is usually because I've made some bad decisions that I need to pay for.

Good for you. I hope you and your son have luck in Florida! When is your Maine moose hunt. Whenever it is good luck in Maine and Nevada! Take lots of pictures! Denny

Sounds like an excellent time, hope you score on all accounts. An older fellow told me, do all the things you wanna do while you can. One day you will wake up and find you can’t do it anymore. I take that as sound advice and spend as much time enjoying myself as I can manage.
