Does the new Nosler reloading manual have data that is not in their on-line reloading data web site? I am interested in the Enduron powders as well as the newer Alliant powders like RL16/RL23/RL26 in the old stand-by calibers of 6.5x55/270WCF/30-06.

I am aware of the on-line data Hodgdon and Alliant have.

I only see them list RL 15, RL 17, RL 19, RL 22 loads for the 3 cartridges you asked about. Number 9 has no real value to me for reloading purposes. Number 2 and 5 covers my needs. It is a good reference book for the new cartridges though.

I will ship you mine for not too much. Don’t hate it…but it was disappointing.

It's a good manual, but I was disappointed with it in terms of data for newer powders.

I haven't bought a new manual in years. I got the #9 as a Christmas present. Decent manual. Glad I got it as a present tho.

The latest Sierra Manual, IMO, is about the best available at present, regarding cartridges often seen on Campfire discussions along with old and new powders, even cartridges beyond the local sporting goods shelves. It's also been reasonably close with powder charges, velocities and component variances.

Most Nosler manuals (including #9) are more about people assigned to doing write ups on attendant pet cartridges, or cartridges that have loads that are in the preface that aren't even listed in the data.

And believe it or not, Nosler completely dropped the .284 Win and .358 Win from the #9. This was, IMO, nuts.
And to answer the earlier question - AFAIK all the data is available online as well at the Nosler site, so you'd only be buying the manual for the write-ups.

Seems like the trend with newer manuals is to add data for new(er) cartridges and forego adding new(er) powders to older established cartridges.

Not when they have the exact same information the book has readily available online.
