I normally use Brownells spray on release agent for glass bedding and have had very good luck with it. I was running out so went to Brownells again to buy more and all they had was this stuff. It doesn't say Brownells on the can so just thought I'd ask if anyone here is using it and how satisfied are you with it. The thought of "gluing" a barreled action to a stock gives me shivvers!

Just use Johnson Paste Wax. I have never had any that did not pop right out.

Two coats of Hornady Oneshot aerosol case lube. Cheap and easy.

The only one I ever glued in was with spray release agent. Since then, it has always been Johnson’s Paste Wax. Still on my first can after 30 or so years.

I use kiwi neutral color shoe polish. Available at walmart for a couple of bucks. It works fantastic.

Never used Zn stearate, but am curious about how it works. It's essentially soap scum, might work well.
