Does anyone have love for the SIG P-220? I like mine. I'm just wondering how common they are? I carry mine a lot. Be Well, RZ.

I love my P 220, its the easiest handgun I own to shoot accurately with, it has a great trigger !

I enjoy shooting the SIG. I was wondering if others find it as good as I do. I also don't know if the other autos in their lineup operate in the same way. If so, I suppose that is a good reason for their popularity with some specops groups. I'm not even sure of the nomenclature for them. P-220, 226, 228, ...? Be Well, RZ.

Sig 220 is great. but capacity lacks. I like HK USP 45acp for added capacity.

I like mine. I installed a Lasermax guide rod laser in it I wish they made a green laser version.

I have a 220 compact with 6 rounds in the well, it carries nice and shoots well.
The 8- 10 round mag for backup or night stand use.
fits my semi large hands well, and the quality is unbelievable.

Was the most durable .45 ACP I owned, it would chew up high pressure ammo that chokes a 1911.

I wondered about the 45 super loads I have. I just haven't tried them in the SIG. Be Well, RZ.

I am a fan of the SIG P220, I like them enough that I have kept three .
Two are West German mfg. (a 9mm w/ heel release and a 45 ACP) and other is a US made 45 ACP with a rail .
Several others have come and gone, to include a 38 Super and a rare 7.65 / 30 Luger .
After spending time on the range with a P220 Legion recently I may have one in my future smile
Mine aren't carried much these days, the US made gun just had new night sights and Hogue G10 grips added and rides in the truck or in my 55BN holster .

Every 220 I have ever shot has been super accurate

Finally got one last year. Local shop had a 2 tone 10mm with fixed night sights. Came with G10 grips that seemed sharp to me so I put on some rubber Hogue grips with the finger grooves. Ugly as hell but they fit me. Gun is super accurate. Kinda heavy, being all steel but I do carry it under a fleece vest in the fall and winter. 9 rds of 180jhp 10mm is no joke

My only Sig was a Compact P-290 rs, 9mm until I purchased a new Sig P-210 Target, 9mm, a year ago.
Last night, in Scheels I saw a Talo Exclusive, Sig P-320 XG Classic, 9mm, and today I brought it home.

I like them, but have always preferred a 1911 over a 220.

220's are great. I lump them in with the Gen 3 Smiths.

Just something you have to love about them.

I need to take mine out and be more precise. I do love to see how fast I can go and keep it in the black. I can't find my favorite Winchester 230 Gr BEB flat points for reloading. Maybe they don't make them anymore. Be Well, RZ.
